First of May Reminders

May the Paws Be With You: A Month of Activity

May is here, and it’s time to taco ‘bout all the pawsome activites lined up this month! As we celebrate the flavors of Cinco de Mayo, the force of Star Wars Day, and the honor of Memorial Day, don’t forget that our puppies are also ready to join in on the fun—albeit after some preventative medicine on May 1st. After all, we want our furry friends to be feeling paw-sitively fantastic!

May Day Hooray Day! Let’s kick off this month by rounding up those furry friends—it’s time for puppies to get their preventative medicine! Ensuring their health is no yawning matter. Plus, don’t forget to check out the Cecil College Visit from 11 AM – 1 PM. It’s the perfect ‘plot’ to learn and ‘root’ for educational connections!

As we zoom into May 6th, we have a Puppy Raiser Zoom Information Session at 7 PM. It will be a fantastic opportunity to unleash your questions and hear about important raising topics from The Seeing Eye staff, so don’t miss it!

Lightspeed ahead to May 19th when we gather for the Guiding Paws Meeting at 6:30 PM.

On May 22nd, we’ll also have the Global Accessibility Awareness Event at Chase Bank from 11 AM – 2:30 PM. This event is meant to create a galaxy of understanding about inclusivity, and it’s sure to be out of this world!

Mark your calendars for May 31st when we tentatively scheduled a delightful outing to Pea Patch Island. Before you em-bark on this adventure, take a look at our website calendar for further details as they become solid. It’s sure to be a fun-filled day!

Speaking of the website, we’ve added a new tutorial on the resources page to help you take your puppies on public transit in New Castle County. Because who doesn’t want to travel in style with their furry co-pilot?

Lastly, let’s sprinkle some joy—please consider sending in an updated picture of your pup for the website. After all, a picture is worth a thousand barks!

Let’s celebrate May in true pun-derful fashion while ensuring our pups are ready to shine and bring joy to the world! Remember, members, the website’s calendar is always the best resource for event details!

May the fur be with you… we know it will!
