Congratulations to Journey for recently completing his Town walk – a big milestone in his journey to becoming a Seeing Eye guide dog.

This moment was especially meaningful for his puppy raisers, as Journey was the very first Seeing Eye puppy they raised. The Town Walk is a key part of the training program and showcases a pup’s ability to navigate busy environments with focus, confidence, and obedience.

Journey’s trainer highlighted his calm, attentive behavior as he walked through the streets of New York City — an impressive display of the skills he’s been building in training.

We’re so proud of Journey and his progress, and we can’t wait to see what’s next as he prepares to be matched with someone who is blind or visually impaired. Way to go, Journey!
