Our Guiding Paws puppies recently had the wonderful opportunity to attend a dress rehearsal performance of “The Importance of Being Earnest” at Appoquinimink High School! Outings like this are an important part of their training. The exposure helps them grow comfortable in new environments filled with unfamiliar sights, sounds, and crowds. Experiences like this build confidence, reinforce good behavior, and prepare our pups for the many situations they’ll encounter as future guide dogs. Of course, the dog distraction helps the young artists hone their craft as well!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Appoquinimink High School for welcoming us again and supporting our mission. Their hospitality made this a memorable and valuable experience for both our puppies and their raisers! We are confident their shows will be entertaining for all.
