A few of our Guiding Paws pups had a special outing recently as they visited Appoquinimink High School to watch the dress rehearsal of How to Eat Like a Child. The theatre department at AHS has always welcomed our dogs and raisers with open arms, giving the pups a chance to experience a brand‑new environment filled with movement, music, applause, and all the unpredictable moments that make live theatre so valuable for training.

Exposure outings like this help our future guide dogs learn to stay calm, confident, and focused even when the world around them is buzzing with activity. The AHS cast and crew created the perfect learning atmosphere, and our pups handled it beautifully.
